Meet The Maker

Yo! Welcome to Shitty Heaven. I’m Evan Bernard. This is my creative sanctuary online I suppose. Shitty Heaven is actually what I call my mixing room. When it looks more photogenic, perhaps i’ll make a page dedicated to it so you can see where I do all of my work, but since I’ve moved into my space I’ve kind of just set it up to rip, and it’s always a mess with whatever I’m tinkering with. I just recapped Jamtown’s Furman AR-20 and built a bunch of patch cables.

This site is also a place for you to check out the records I played on and wrote, along with records I mixed and recorded. You can hire me as a session player, a touring musician, or pretty much anything music related. It’s my passion, it’s what I do.

I play drums, bass and guitars, can do vocals, and if you need me to play some simple keyboard lead stuff, I can hack that as well.

My bread and butter is truly my studio work. I’ve always been fascinated with recording, and have always loved fully immersing myself in whatever project I’m working on. I’m honored when artists choose me to collaborate with them on their music. Music is a very personal thing. When I work with artists, I want to make sure the artist is comfortable and the music comes out exactly how they imagine the music would come out. It should be fun, it should be executed with care.
