Out on tour with Oceanator

I’m out here in Santa Cruz, about to head up to Sacramento to play our third show with legendary Team Dresch. I don’t know if I can truly express how much I love Team Dresch, how much their music impacted me growing up, how truly next level their lyricism and music truly is. It changed me.

Being able to see them play each night is truly a gift. Being able to play shows with my friends and bands I admire each night is truly a privilege. It’s been a blast playing with Elise and Miles in Oceanator, I love playing my 5-string bass, I love the thunder, I love the loud.

I guess I’m feeling grateful today. Shout-out to Jon Velazquez for housing us in LA, taking the photo I used for this post, and indulging me with my quest to eat only street food in LA. I think my final count was 16 tacos from 5 different vendors, 4 papusas from 3 different vendors, 3 tamales from 2 different vendors and 1 burger. Support your local vendors. This is the shit I live for.
